Donald Paul GLASS

1938 - 2021

Age 82, of Spanish Springs, NV Died in Reno, NV, on February 24, 2021, surrounded by his wife and three sons, 26 days following a large stroke. A viewing at Wulff Funeral Home at 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN, will be held on Friday, March 12, from 4 PM to 8 PM, with a prayer service at 6 PM. At a date TBD, Paul will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN, next to his wife of 54 years, Corrine. An enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwa, Paul was born on August 9, 1938, in White Earth, MN, to Michael Donald Glass and Lorraine Worden. Graduating from Washington High School in St. Paul, Paul attended the University of Minnesota and joined the Air Force in 1961. Service to our country included stints in Japan, Korea, Germany, and multiple bases in the U.S., retiring from the military at George AFB, Victorville, CA. Not yet ready for total retirement, Paul worked for the County of San Bernardino for 15 years, then settling down for retirement in Spanish Springs, NV, in 2002. Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Corrine, in 2015; his dad, Michael Glass; and his mother, Lorraine Worden. Margaret his second wife survives Paul along with three sons, Larry (Trish) Glass of Omaha, NE, Rick Glass of Portland, OR, and Tom (Stephanie) Glass of San Carlos, CA; three brothers, David, John, Peter; six sisters, Bea, Debbie, Donna, Sandy, Sue, Mitzi; sister-in-law, Jeanne Bertram; and nieces, Mary Christianson and Janet (Tom) Horan; two stepchildren, Lisa Dixon (Omar) and Patrick (Kellee) Dixon; five grandchildren, J.P., Jared, Wyatt, Garrett, and Austin; and many extended relatives.
