Donna Marie EDWARDS

1923 - 2013 Donna was born in Madison, SD to Frank and Mable Washburn, and spent most of her life in St. Paul, MN. She attended St. James Grade School and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1941. Donna and William Edwards were married in 1947. They have three children, Mary Edwards of St. Paul and Mark (Cheryl) Edwards of White Bear Lake, and Paula (Gary) Reubens of Hudson, WI. She has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her brother Vincent Washburn lives in North Oaks. She also has a niece and a nephew. Donna had many interests in addition to being a homemaker. As she was raising her three children, she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Odilia Catholic Church and also at St. Elizabeth Seaton in Sun City, AZ. She volunteered at several hospitals and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, played tennis until she was in her 80s and and traveled extensively with her husband Bill. They resided in Vadnais Heights for the last 55 years. They have owned a home in Sun City, AZ, for the last 24 years where they spent their active winters. A Memorial Mass was held at St. Elizabeth Seaton Church in Sun City. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Donna will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
