Donna Marie GREGORY

Age 73 of Cottage Grove Passed away on September 14, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Donna began her working years at FOK where she made many friends over the 10 plus years she was there. She also worked at Northwest Airlines for 12 years. Donna was active in her bowling league "The Hot Flashes", and truly enjoyed traveling and having fun with her teammates. She was a member of the YMCA where she swam, exercised, and was a social butterfly. Donna will always be remembered for accepting everyone as they were; she did not have judge-mental bone in her body. Above all else, Donna loved her grandchildren; they were her moon and her stars. Donna is survived by her children, Mike and Roxanne (David) Matten; grandchildren, Aaron Matten, Danica Matten, Marlene Budge and James Budge; siblings, Joyce Cheever, Diane Williams, Richard Williams, Julie Goudge, David (Denise) Williams, Theresa Sanchez, Beth (Jamie) Thelen; and many loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James and her parents. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:30am at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th Street South, Cottage Grove, MN) with visitation beginning at 10am. Interment at Fort Snelling National cemetery will be held at a later date. 651-459-2227
