If Doris (and Ken?) were in Colorado in 1958, I believe I just found a couple of pictures of her in my mother's archives. I have no idea how they knew each other, but I'm happy to forward scans should anyone want them. I'm reluctant to post them here as I'm uncertain if they actually are of the right person.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Uncle Ken - Jim, Alan, Cheryl and families, We were so sorry to learn of Auntie Doris' passing and regret that we will not be able to attend today's memorial service. We are out of the country, on an extended stay in Mexico and will be here for some time longer...but, we did want to pass along our respects.
Auntie Doris will be sorely missed by everyone who was ever blessed to know her. Her ever-present smile, her consistent and positive outlook on life and her warm heart, that made you feel special - just to speak with her. We know that she has passed on to a better place and that God's Heavenly Choir has gained another beautiful voice...take peace in that and in each other. Please let a lifetime of wonderful memories take the place of any sorrow these difficult days bring.
In God's Peace and Love,
Jeff & Marla
