Years ago I worked with Ed at PROEX as a seasonal employee. I enjoyed seeing him every year as he was an interesting fellow who always had time for "hello" and a little chat. One year he brought in his modeling portfolio to share and gave me his business card, which I carried around for a long time...that photo of him is quite compelling. He had not returned for seasonal work in the past few years and I was often curious as to how he was doing.
Just last week I took my first Open U class taught by Echo Bodine and did not make the connection between the two at all, but looking at Ed's photo again I see a strong resemblance (meant as a compliment to you Echo!)
I hope that his passing was peaceful and extend my deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.

Hello to the Bodine family and to Ed's friends,
From 2000 to 2002 I worked for a non-profit in which Ed was a customer. I interviewed him for our newsletter and felt great respect as I listened to his interesting life experiences. I spoke with Ed on various occasions throughout the past years and he was always very sweet to me. Deep down he had a kind heart and I feel honored that I know that about him. He loved his family, something he mentioned to me quite often, and was VERY proud of his kids! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless!
