Eleanore Agnes MATCZYNSKI

1921 - 2021

Our most loved mother, Eleanore Agnes Chrosniak Matczynski passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021. Born January 10, 1921 and lived to 100 plus years. Eleanore was born and raised in South St. Paul. Preceded in death by husband, Jerome; son-in-law, Frank; and sister, Delores. Survived by sons, Richard and Jim (Patricia) and daughter, Dyan (Frank) Matczynski-Yarusso; grandchildren, Tony (April) Matczynski, Alicia (Jon) Carter & Chrissy (Adam) Thonvold; great-grandchildren, Luke, Chase, Lynn, Emma, Carter, Ava, plus many relatives and friends. Eleanore lived her 100 years with style and grace. She was a wonderful Mother, Wife and Friend who loved to cook, craft, travel, laugh and dance. She had an adventurous, thoughtful soul. Mom was proud of her Polish Heritage and was a proud American. She was special and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the Little Sisters of the Poor and all the staff who cared for Mom with such love and compassion. Also, to Our Lady of Peace Hospice care.
