George CASWELL Obituary

Age 97, died on March 17, 2022. Preceded in death by wife of 77 years, Colleen, son, George II, parents and 7 siblings. Survived by daughter Cathleen (Fred), grandchildren Krista Clercx (Todd) Sean (Heather), Kelly (Kristi), Nathan (Katharine), Ryan (Emily), and Kerri Ringwelski (Matt), 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, daughter-in-law Karin Martinson, sister-in-law Donna Mathias, many nieces and nephews and friends. He was a veteran of the Philippine campaign in WWII. He loved all children, they gravitated to his gentle, caring and fun nature, he could fix anything, and knew how everything worked when asked. This good man was loved by all he knew. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Parmly on the Lake, who, for 3½ years, loved him like family, cared for him like angels, and always treated him with dignity and respect. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Parmly on the Lake, or to the DAV. Mass of Christian Burial with be held April 9th at Holy Spirit Church in St. Paul at 11am, with visitation before Mass at 10am. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
