Chris, Kathy and family,
I hope you are able to stop and reflect each day, holiday, and special occasion with a smile, knowing that your Dad is still lovingly watching over you with great care. I know he has left behind a iifetime of memories for you all to share. My favorite memory??? He renamed me "craphed" when the bird decided to plant one on my head. Please take care, all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Take care of Mom!!! It has to be so very difficult. Take care.

I was so sorry to read of George's passing. I'm sure it's been very difficult for all the family, because of how suddenly he went. But, at least you have so many warm, fond, and loving memories to console you all.
I would just like to say that growing up next door to the Haselman family, on Hoyt Ave, for the first 20 years of my life, are some of the happiest & best times I can remember.
And, I also can still smell George's pipe tobacco...
May time heal your sorrow.

Dearest Aunt Lorraine & Family,
You are in our prayers today, prayers for healing your sorrow.
Memories of Uncle George fill my heart: the smell of his pipe tobacco, his gentle mannerisms, the laughter in his eyes, and summer camping trips. Thank you Aunt Lorraine & Uncle George for happy childhood times at your home. Warm greetings to Cindy and Tom.
Peace be with you,

Dear Aunt Lorraine and my dear cousin's,
I am so sorry for you that he passed away so suddenly. My heart aches for you all but if he didn't have to suffer with the cancer, it was a happy death for him.
I have one memory I want to share. It is a very special one for me, and I remember it like it was yesterday. Uncle George was the first person ever to give me a plane ride, my very first flight in that little plane. I remember the stick in the floor and as usual, my cousin Karen right next to me in the back. I was so scared but knew Uncle George and Karen would never let me down. We flew over my house on Iowa!! It was the greatest. I can't remember how old I was but I can still see my house from over the trees. How lucky am I?
Uncle George, you adored your wife and loved all your kids, grandkids, great grandkids and had a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks for all the wonderful memories at lake. They will still live on with the family and with the kids families. It's the Haselman bay. May your faith and family carry you through this most difficult time.
I sure hope when it's my time to go, maybe the dear Lord will let him pick me up in the plane again and take me to heaven. Wouldn't that be great?
All my love,
Lynette

Lorraine, Tom, Cindy, Karen, Bob, Chris, & Kathy,
Oh the Memories ! 645 W Hoyt & 649 W Hoyt - Where else would you find 2 Families so close that they even shared a driveway. My deepest sympathy to all of the Haselman Family. A couple of my favorite memories of George are: Going to see George if one of the Okoneski Children had a loose tooth or riding along with Lorraine to pick George up from the airport (Of coarse George would honk the horn going through the tunnel). Your Family will be in my prayers

Lorraine, Tom and Family.
Having the good fortune to grow up were I did, I was lucky enough to have people around like George and you Lorraine. You let the "gang" hang around - sleeping out on the porch and just always being there. Thank you.
And Tom - your Dad drove a 55 Chev and flew airplanes! - no one was more cool. a great guy.

To Aunt Lorraine and Family
My earliest memories of going to a cabin were with Uncle George and Aunt Lorraine and all the cousins. Those were the best times. Now sitting at my cabin I write this with a heavy heart and great memories. We will miss you Uncle George,

To Aunt Lorraine and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle George's passing. I have so many fond memories from childhood at your lake place and Uncle George taking me water skiing for the first time (probably smoking his pipe). He will be missed by all.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,

To the Haselman Family:
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I can still remember riding in the back of your station wagon, down the winding hill of Snelling Avenue, to pick him up at the airport. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have so many wonderful memories of him, most of these at the cabin, skiing, playing cards, Getting yelled at for giggling, convincing him to stop at the DQ. To this day if I smell pipe smoke (apple I think was part of his concoction) it brings me back to a very happy time
Thanks for sharing your dad with me
