To Bill and the entire Sweeney family -
I was very sorry to read of the passing of George and wanted to extend my sincere condolences to you. How fortunate you were to have had George in your family, as husband and brother. May he live on in unending peace and happiness.

PS Bill, I knew George had to be your brother because in the photo shown, you and he look strikingly alike.

I was in the same Cretin 1962 graduating class with George.
I lost contact with George after graduation; however, it appears George made quite a contribution of excellence to his Family, and his Country.
God Bless George and his Family.

PS-I did not know until reading George's Obituary that he and I sheared the same Birtday - April 16th, 1944 :-)

George leaves a great memory in my life. His sincere respect for individuals, strong commitment to doing the best possible in any attempt, whether it was work or social, and always open to adding humor in appropriate context, will continue to be part of my life. He did survive longer than I had expected, as he flew with the Toad. George, thank you for what you gave to us all. Your service, your respect, and your love. Rest In Peace, friend.
