Geraldine Louise Germain "Geri" LALLAS

1936 - 2017

March 1, 1936 - August 31, 2017 Age 81, of St. Paul, MN went to be with the Lord Thursday morning. She was born in St. Paul, MN to Walter and Hortense (Youngren) Germain. Geri graduated from Wilson High School in 1955, attended Hamline University and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree in 1958. She enjoyed working in the field of nursing. While attending college Geri worked at a bank where she met Paul Patrick "Pat" Lallas and they were married May 5, 1956 and soon bought a house on Como Lake. In 1965 they moved to Falcon Heights to accommodate their growing family. Pat & Geri had 6 children, Paul Jr (Mary Jo), Michelle (Terry) Larson, Carolyn (Mick) Bilotta, Michael (Georgia), Julie (Roger) Anderson, Doug (Jenni). Also Pat's son, who she considered one of her own, Dan (Lindsey and 2 kids). Geri lived out her last 18 months at Lyngblomsten where she enjoyed many new friendships with residences and personnel. Geri enjoyed her time with family at Big Sandy Lake, loved Friday night karaoke, listening to music and loved entertaining with her friends and family. Geri was preceded by her father Walter, mother Hortense, brother Ron, and former husband Pat. She is survived by her sister Kathy (Jack), sister-in-law Vera, her 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren along with many extended relatives and friends. We will be honoring Geri's life on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Lyngblomsten at 1415 Almond Ave. W. St. Paul, MN 55108. Visitation 9 am to 10 am. Service 10 am. Luncheon to follow.
