Dearest Bruce, Sharon, Bethany and Benjamin

Your example of how Christians deal with such tragic loss is a model for us all to follow. Through your mourning, the larger part of your focus has been the celebration of Hannah's life in Christ. God wants our praises in all circumstances and you have shown that is possible. God doesn't want "fair-weathered" people who can only praise Him when all is well. He wants those who give thanks in all situations, as you have so lovingly demonstrated. Hannah was a reflection of all the Godly lessons you taught her. I am blessed to know you and love you all very deeply and in a very Christ-like manner. We are ETERNAL. God brought us together through Brigadier and we both cherish you in our lives.

Dorothy, Larry, Sharon, Bruce, and Ben. I am so sorry. We remember a life today and all that made Hanna who she was-all that delighted her, that made her laugh or moved her to tears, calling to mind her story, and the many lives she touched along the way. Hanna's outlook, her inner strength, and the things that she believed in-recognizing her goodness, her uniqueness, her own special gifts shared generously with the rest of her world. Her connections with family and friends, and all who loved her-feeling enriched for having known her and delight in her special ways, so grateful for your time with her, for the way she affected you, inspired you, and affirmed for you that this is how a beautiful life should be lived. With deepest sympathy. My dear Dorothy and Larry--I know how special your grandchildren are to you and I can't begin to know or feel the grief and pain that you are experiencing except that you know that she is in the arms of Jesus. My love and prayers.

Hannah will be sorely missed by all of us who shared her love of horses and loved being around them. Her quiet manner and contemplative style always pleased her four legged friends and made her fellow horsemen love and respect her even more. We hold Bethany's hand as she struggles with her recovery and await her return.
