Heather LeClair EVANS

1980 - 2021

Age 41 of Cottage Grove Passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Heather was born on September 7, 1980 to Tom and Cindy LeClair; she will forever be known as their "Baby Girl" and was the absolute "dream daughter". Heather was a successful businesswoman and flourished in her career at Capella University. She began a financial reporting program that was responsible for all the federal funding the university received. When not at work, Heather could be found baking or cooking. Her neighbors were always given some of her unbelievable baked creations. Heather had a bigger heart than herself; she was generous and loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed. Most importantly, Heather deeply loved her husband and girls. Heather is survived by her husband, Brian; loving daughters, Natalie and Alice; stepdaughter, Cori; parents, Tom and Cindy LeClair; grandmothers, Alice LeClair "grandma next-door" and Dorothy Mrachek; mother-in-law, Marcia Evans; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerome Kaehler, Paul Mrachek, and Emmett LeClair, and father-in-law, Arthur Evans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at The Church of St. Rita (8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN) at 12pm. Visitation will begin at 10. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will immediately follow Mass. Due to Covid-19 there will not be a luncheon. A Go Fund Me has been established in Heather's name. 651-459-2483
