Jim . . . you would have been 65 today. It seems so unreal that I will be 60 in a few days because you were always the "older" one! I think about you often with such amazingly vivid memories of our childhood and early adult years. I also remember that you always wanted Mom's homemade cherry pie for each of your birthdays instead of a birthday cake. Sure do wish you were still here, but I'm thinking you have some sweet people up there to celebrate your 65th with. Happy 65th and love you always!

Well Dad,
Another year has passed and we are still thinking of you deeply, and are missed all the time. I am sitting here listen to songs that remind me of you right now and all the time, and it hurts alot.
I still don't know why God wanted you that fast, the boys were only 5 and kelly gave birth to a little girl. And Chad and Gi had their first little boy to follow after that, He will be a year February. Hard to believe huh Dad.
You would be really proud of your grand babies... They all miss their Papa and wiss that you were with us, as well as i miss my Dad everyday and wiss i could have you with me(us).. And i Don't think nobody can help me there. I always told Dave that if i ever lost my parents or grandparents i probally lose it.
Well i've lost both of you and i hope that You both are doing good and taking care of each other and everyone else that has passed, and grandma Grace too.
Today is New's Eve Dad, and I'm sorry that I
haven't gotten here for awhile there is just so much on mind lately that won't go away.
But i will get back to wwrite you aas soon as i can, as i know that you watch out for us....

Hello Dad,
It's just me. Well I hope that you have Grandpa in your care, we will miss you both. I never got to say good-bye to Grandpa or that I Love him before he Passed away.
But I hope that the both of you met and are having fun with old memories. We miss you Dad and will with grandpa too.. It will be extra tough now that i lost the both of you and will be for awhile. We miss you dad and wish you were here, your grandsons are now 9 yrs old and in 4Th grade you would be proud of them Austin is as good as you were at spelling and a few other things.
This is quiet hard for me, I lost to of the most important men in my life in just a short time. Along with a few others like your mom and rick's daughter too.
I hope that you are well along with grandpa please take care of him Dad and we all love you both. I'll talk to you soon....

Hello Dad,
I know it's been awhie i last talked to you, been pretty busy around here with the boys lately. And the thought of you not being here.. We really miss you! I really miss you it's not the same without you here anymore even tho things have to go on, But i can't let go of you the thought, the smells, the comments, and everything that you are, I just can't do it. But i try and keep going on.
Austin and Dustin are now going into 3rd grade in 2007 coming up and you would be proud of their accomplishments and how they are doing, they sure do miss thet papa, Austin came home here at the end of the school yr and was telling me what he told his teacher when they were given out awards and he came home and told me, that when he got his award that his teacher asked him what made him a better student, he said that ever since his papa died he got good at spelling.
It was sad to hear,but a happy momment because of how you were at correcting us all the time. You would of been proud Dad We really do Miss you alot here and always wish you were here, We hoope that you have a GREAT HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! And I will write again tomorrow...........

Hello Dad,
I know it's been awile since I've i last talked to you. Today is your Birthday and Father's Day too!
And we wated to wish you a Happy Birthday and Father's Day, We are mising you so much around here. And we wish you were still with us to this day, you left us too early dad.
It still hurts me to this day that you had to go so early, I wanted so much to see the boys grow up and you to be proud of me.
Alot happened this year Dave and i got married in Febuary finally (and i wanted you to be there to give me away) I didn't have nobody there for me even tho i know you were there in spirit for me. And you would be proud.
Austin is in t-ball and of course dustin doesn't want to any of that yet. The boy's are going in to 2nd grade this fall, They really miss their PAPA...
I hpoe that you are watching over us dad and that you are proud of me raising the boys and for the decisions that i have made, even tho some might not be right sometimes, But you know there are good days and there are bad days, and there will always be those days in life as it goes on.

Hey there Dad, sorry that i haven't been here for awhile i wanted to get on last monday to wish you a Happy Anniversary and Happy Thanksgiving. All has been pretty hectic around here now that the hoildays are here.
And now it's almost christmas again without you we sure do miss you very much around here, it's just not the same.Even tho i know that you are always here with all of us.
The boys really miss you alot too they wish they had their papa back, and so do i . You would be proud of them dad. And you have another granchild too now Jaci, Kelly's baby girl..

I didn't know till today (saw your memorial in the paper).
The world has lost a part of it's Sunshine.
We saw each other rarely as the years passed, but I remember each and every one of those times, cause you were a memorable guy. Some were good for you and tough for me and others the other way around but you were the same cheerful, funny and sensitive guy, no matter what the times brought.
Annie still remembers you teasing her when she was about four, I remember the tears in your eyes the first time you saw me after Carolynn died and the striped mechanic shirts that were part of your life for a while.
You always talked proudly about your family and we seemed to always revert to remembering "back when" to the absolute boredom of others present.
I wish You All of God's Peace and Happiness.....

Hello Dad,
Happy 4Th of July, it's hard to believe its a yr already with out you, we miss you so much your happiniess, memories and eveything about you.
I and the boys miss you much Dad, Myself i still carry the memories to this day even july 3rd when i first came down there. I still wish i could of talked to you more before you left. but i know i will talk to you soon, the boys think of you every day and they always talk about you, and some days it hurts me when they do.
i know i'm the oldest and i should be strong, but since you left things became a shamble in my life, i lost my father, the greatest thing in my life , i was proud to be your daughter dad, and i know its going to be awhile to ease my pain, and the boys too.
they talk about you all the time and your picture is up along with the watch Dustin has of yours, we will never forget you.

Sorry that i haven't written to you sooner. I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday yesterday, and a Happy Fathers Day today.
It's been really tough on all of us that you are gone,it's coming up on a year already and it doesn't seem like it. Everyday not a moment passes that i (we) don't think about you.
I and we really miss you you are always in my dreams and in my heart. The boys really miss there papa alot too, they want to see you so much as well as i do. they are really getting big and they made it to 1st grade, you would be so proud of them.
I know that you are just yelling at me about the way i have been lately, but you know dad i need to over come that, and i will soon enough it's just beeen tough after you left, i didn't want you to go, and it hurts me even more that i didn't even get to talk to you before you did.
And that what hurts me the most sometimes.But i know that you are always here.Ilove you dad so much and miss you alot, and can't wait till i see you again, i hope you know that.
One more thing before i go i wanted to tell you more about the boys, austin and dustin both came to me on one clear night when we were outside, and said mom look there is papa the most brightest star in the sky, and i said yes that was you, and i told them all they need to do is look up in the sky and you will always be there looking down on us.
They miss you alot day, just like memorial wkend they were saying who all was coming and they said nana and papa, and i had to remind them about it and you wouldn't be here but you would as our angel and that is what you are to us Dad our Angel here.

Hello My Dad,
Today is December 4th and it has been 5 months now since you've been gone. And it's hard to believe that too, it's still tough on all of us too, especially me, I know for a fact that you are with us tho because there are certain things that happen around here to let me know that you are here.

Gone are the days we used to share, but in my heart and memories you've always been there.
I'll never forget the exquisite treehouse you built on Dome Avenue ... watching you play "ferocious basketball" for St. Pete's ... all four of us riding in the back of Dad's jeep to go swimming at Doc Bernier's ... your witty remarks and really humorous observations ... our intense "cattail fights" in the swamp ... watching Dad "teach" you that if you smoke an obscene amount of cigars at one sitting you just might stop smoking cigarettes (didn't work) ... our "in-the-face" smelly muck-filled seaweed "exchanges" at Silver Lake ... you taking very special care of Dumbo on that hot, summer fateful day in 1966.
What the heart has once known, it shall never forget. I will remember you always.

To The Capaul Family We didnt know Jim very good , But with all the good things we have heard about him. we feel that we have known him for years, we know he loved his grandsons- Dustin and Austin they were the apple of his eye, and we know that he is in gods hands and is in peace, there is something i remember that his wife Barb told me a while back about when she would come up north by her self, I asked her where is Jim and she would say home baking Bread , I think she said he had a bread maker, well Barb if you smell Bread Jim is Baking, Prayers for all, we love you all .
