Born to Robert and Marion Hicks on June 1, 1947, he passed away peacefully, October 30, 2021. "Living the Dream" is how he will be remembered by his friends and family. When asked "How he was doing?", his response was always, "Still living the dream". Jim was a father, brother, car guy, Harley rider, dance fanatic, teacher at Dunwoody and the U of M, and an adventurer. He had 30+ years of sobriety which he was very proud of. Jim will be missed always and is survived by his son Eric, his sons Anthony and Dimitiri, daughter Cristy, and her daughters Gabriel and Gwendolyn, also his brother Bob, and wife Sherrie, and his two children Sarah West and Brian Hicks. His memorial service will be Saturday, November 13th, 1 pm-3 pm. at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 7950 Blaine Ave. E., Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076.
