I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful and personable person, Jason. I want Jason's family and close friends to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I feel horrible that I came to know of his passing after the service was over, I wish I could of been there. I hope that you are able to find comfort knowing you are in my thoughts. I have not seen Jason for many years, but he was a very important person in my life for a long time, years ago. Very fond memories and his smile are surfacing as I type this. His smile could brighten anyone's day and his personality could make the saddest person laugh.

I am so sorry,

Julie Messbarger (Lucker)

I would like to share this poem with you all:

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.

A bird gives the message back to

the world, and sings a silent prayer

that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away.

The spirits up there put the sun to

bed, wake up the grass, and spin the

earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they’re supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rain-bows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide.

They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind-

songs, they whisper to us, don’t

miss me too much. The view is nice

and I’m doing just fine.

It has been several years since I had spoken with Jason, but he was a very significant part of my life from '93-95 and a good friend until 1999 when we lost contact. I will always remember the sweet things he would say and do (he loved to give me roses among many other things) and his talent for writing and creating. I really regret losing touch with Jason after our St Cloud days because we had become so much closer as friends and now I will never have a chance to reconnect with him until we some day meet again! I will keep with me the many, many memories and smile whenever I think about Jason and his goofy self!

No piece of paper was safe around Jason. No matter how small the scrap, he would turn it into a work of art. He loved gel pens, and would draw beautiful designs everywhere. Jason loved to create collages on the walls of their apartment, and fill notebooks with poetry. My best memories of him are when he was his most creative individual self...dressing how he wanted, crazy-colored hair, making plans to do something wild or to go somewhere outrageous. I miss that energy and spark.

To Jason's Mom and Dad,..Brothers, Grandparents and other relatives,

Our sincere sympathy to all of you.

Jason was such a personable young man. We have only met him a few times, but we will remember him. He had such a sincere handshake, and nice smile.

"I Give to you for a little while, a child of mine, He said.

To care for while he's living, and to morn for when he's gone"

We, too, have lost a child, and understand your grief. It is wonderful we are all left with precious memories.

GOD BLESS,

Janet and Jerry Wiberg
