Jeanne was a very nice lady who loved to hear stories & give hugs. I was lucky to have been able to care for her for a short time & the memories I will always have. Her - Yeah with a smile - will always be in my heart. She was a compassionate lady & I heard many stories about her life & family from daughter Wendy. Thanks for letting me care for Jeanne.

What an amazing mark she made!
What a world we would live in if everyone had the compass and left half the legacy as Jeanne.
It is no surprise she is your mother, Diana.

I'm saddened to see Mother Fowls has passed away. She was always so nice to me and all the people she met. I have a lot of fond memories of her when we use to grill out in her back yard. She is one of the few people I have ever met who never said an ill word about anyone that we were talking about. I'd like to thank her daughter Wendy for doing such a great job and a very hard job as mom's caretaker for the last few years. I'm glad to have known her for her last 15 years. We will all miss her but she will be in our hearts forever.

A life well-lived with compassion for all. She always sought to understand; whatever the circumstance. Most every situation was confronted with "how can I help". Many looked to her for her ability to not only listen, but to actually hear and feel their pain. Here was a woman who always had compliments ready to emerge from her lips.
Once, when telling her a story of something I'd just experienced, I suddenly realized that I'd told her the story earlier. She was listening carefully....as if studying every word. I stopped and said "I've told you this story before, haven't I?" She confessed that she had, but enjoyed hearing it again! Such an endearing moment for me.
She had a lot of energy and instituted a new annual event of going out bowling after the Thanksgiving meal...a great exercise program! This is truly a woman to be remembered and celebrated. She's missed today in Tennessee.
