Age 85 of St. Anthony Village Died on Friday, May 7th, 2021 at St. Anthony Health Care. He was born Sept. 15, 1935 in Webster, WI to August and Marie Lang. Jim and LaVonne "Butch" were married for 63 years and raised four boys. Jim worked his way up to be Vice President of WM. Poppenberger Commercial Construction Company. He loved horses, wood carving and traveling. Member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. K of C 4th Degree Knight, Korean War veteran. Jim survived by his wife, LaVonne "Butch" of New Brighton, MN; three sons, Timothy of Green Forest, AR, Douglas of Mpls, MN, David "Howie" of Somerset, WI; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Jeffrey of Cumberland, WI. The best dad, grand dad, husband, uncle, cousin and friend. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, May 21st with visitation one hour prior, all at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2739 NE Stinson Blvd., Minneapolis. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Hillside Chapel 612-781-1999
