John Hable Obituary

(Bud) Age 87 of Apple Valley Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Doris, daughter Susan, and daughter-in-law Nancy. Survived by children Tim, John (Sharon), Sally (Chuck) Soliday, Nancy Hable (David Long), Frank, and Katherine Corbin; grandchildren Michael, John (Teri), Jennifer, James, Erin, Chantelle (Brian), Ryan (Nicole), Ashley (Matt), Tim, Emily (Josiah), Katy, Ben, Maggie, Amanda, Julia, Adeline, Caroline, and Lily; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Rosemarie Gearman and Arlean Mertensotto; and loving nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in West St. Paul and served in the navy during WWII as an aviation machinist. In 1951 he married Doris Holmes. They raised their family in Coon Rapids and later retired to Isanti, MN. Bud was an avid sportsman, loving husband, and devoted father. Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 County Road 42, Burnsville. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery immediately following luncheon at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Lung Association or the ALS Association.
