I was privileged to have know John during the Jerusalem years (late 1970s). He was a man of integrity and compassion, a person of conviction and good works. Remembered with great fondness.

What a lovely tribute to John. He was a person of great integrity and generosity. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Liza, as well as his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Liza. I enjoyed carpooling and attending peace and justice related events with you and John and hearing his perspectives around so many issues, especially Palestine, but also ranging widely. And, too, there was much to admire in how he walked the talk and lived sustainably, as well. His presence will be sorely missed in the peace and justice movement.
