I met John through fate and he helped me with information and encourgment, I will never forget that. My dad was diagnosed with cancer just a few days before I met John. He gave tips and advice and answered some of my dads questions. He was a customer of mine that I talked to maybe a dozen times but I will never forget him and am forever greatful for the support he gave me. What a great guy...

Paige, Corinne, and the Thomas Family,
Words always seem inadequate at a time like this. I'm truly sorry for your loss. John fought so hard and was kept going by his love for Paige and wanting to pack as much love and memories into his time on earth as he possibly could. I wish you strength and courage during the tough times as you mourn his loss.

My deepest sympathy to all of John’s family. Cancer is an evil disease that unfortunately took his life but we have to remember that he is no longer suffering and that alone has to be some comfort. As the days and months ahead are going to be a struggle, cherish all the memories that you have, that will hold him close to your heart and mind. John will continue to live on in his daughter; she will carry on his legacy now.

Our hearts go out to you Paige and Corinne. I can still picture John waiting outside Paige's classroom, holding her puppy with a light in his eye, waiting for her to come out. His love for you was so clear. Let us know if we can support you in any way.

My heart goes out to all who knew of my best friend John. Not too long ago I was going through some rough times. Johnny invited me into his home and told me that I could stay in his home until I got things situated. I stayed in his basement, which John referred to as "Joey's cave." We had many talks, watched alot of sports, and made many wagers watching whatever sporting event was on tv. I will never forget John's generosity....
I have learned over time that John was not just my best friend, he was a best friend to many people.
Thank you to the entire Thomas family for allowing me to be a part of their lives.
Paige, I will always be there for you. I know first hand that you have my phone number!
Johnny, I will cherish the memories I have of you, both the good and not so good situations we would sometimes find ourselves in. "It's all good. Don't worry so much." I always loved that line!
Rest easy, brother...

To All of John's Loved Ones, He fought a courageous battle, as a strong Marine would. He was a great dad to you, Paige, and you will have a faithful guardian angel for the rest of your life! His pain is gone! May the pain of your loss be lightened, knowing that he awaits you in heaven.

To the entire Thomas Family, Corinne, and Paige,
My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. Some people come into our lives and never leave an imprint... and some come into our lives and leave a lasting impression that we never forget...John was one of those people. He showed such courage during his fight and was a true inspiration. He truly taught me how to live life to the fullest even during the hard times. He was always there for me, when I needed a friend to talk to, and I hope I provided that to him to. I will never forget his smile, his laugh, his love for Paige, and his love of family. He was a very special person to me, and will always hold a very special place in my heart!! I am blessed to have known him, and to share a part of his life. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
With sympathy,
