My condolences to the family. A terrible and senseless act to a young man of high moral and integrity as I've read. This effects society as a whole and we here in Texas grieve with you as you mourn. Officer Joe Gomm, Rest In Peace Sir, Well done. May the Good Lord wrap his arms around the family and friends, comfort them, and give them the same courage and strength that Officer Gomm showed

My deepest sympathy to CO Gomm's family & friends. While I did not know him myself, I did know that he was a kind & caring man. My daughter's fiance spent many years in Stillwater & did know him. He has nothing but good things to say about him. CO Gomm is to be commended for doing a difficult job that many would never do. R,I.P.CO Gomm Thank you for your dedicated service.

I can only hope you all receive the strength you will need to gain the comfort you deserve. The greatest fear we have when we work in the correctional environment, is losing a life. I did not know Joe; however, I would see him in the mornings, receiving his equipment for his work day. He was soft spoken but always smiled and said, "Good morning or how are you?" Even though he didn't actually know me, he would make that acknowledgement. We will never make sense of this tragedy but I pray you all have peace soon.
