Dear Ellen - No one could have loved Joe more and you guys certainly were soulmates from the beginning of your relationship and it was a joy to see. My dad always enjoyed hanging out with Joe at our annual Fourth of July gatherings and I am so thankful to have some photos to remember the two of them by, dying in the same year. We will be praying for you and holding you up as you grieve - you lived well with Joe and you can be proud of all the advocacy you did for him through his illnesses. Blessings, Debbie for all the Reynolds xoxoxo

Dearest Ellen and Family,
We are so saddened to hear about Joe's passing. What a kind and generous guy he was! Quick with a joke and always so proud to be "Ellen's hubby". Please know that you are in our thoughts snd prayers during this difficult time.

Ellen and Family,
I am feeling a loss today since I found out about Joe’s passing. I know we will all miss him on Thursday. He was always upbeat and joyful. When I would greet him and ask him how he was, he loved to say that he was “PEACHY”. He helped us to look at life in a positive way and had unique insights into any topic. He talked about you a lot and we loved when you visited. Joe was a very special person who will always be with us in our good memories of him. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Joe was an outstanding man. He will be missed. I loved his sense of humor, his positive attitude and his love for life. He would come in on Thursday morning and light up the room. Joe always had a joke or a lesson to teach us about life. It was evident he loved life, his dear Ellen and his circle of friends and family. I will have him forever in my heart. As we grieve the loss of this good man, let us remember those good stories and his warm smile. Love you Joe...our angel!
