Katherine Waterhouse

Waterhouse, Katherine Age 95 Of Bloomington Masonic Home Previously El Cajon, CA, and Verndale, MN, died Tuesday, September 23. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Sunday, September 28, Eastern Star Service 6 PM at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM FUNERAL HOME, 536 N. Snelling Ave, St. Paul. She was a fifty year member of the OES. Interment will be at Verndale Cemetery Monday, September 29, 11 AM, luncheon to follow at Verndale United Methodist Church. Katherine June Weaver was born June 1, 1913, Brainerd, MN, the daughter of Katherine and George Weaver. She grew up in Verndale from her early years and graduated from Verndale High School and attended St. Cloud Teacher's College. She married Homer T. Waterhouse March 12, 1933. They lived in Verndale until 1955 when the family moved to Los Angeles. She is survived by two children, Gary Waterhouse (Glo), of Tie Siding, WY; and Bonita J. Benson of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren, Scott Waterhouse (Cathy); J.C. Waterhouse (Sherri); Cynthia Benson; Roberta Dorle (Mike); Kimberly Waterhouse-Brown (Craig); Kathy Waterhouse; nine great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. We wish to acknowledge a special thanks to her friends Norma D. Peterson and Myra Campbell, both of CA. Her good friend, John P. Delao, is in an assisted living facility in La Mesa, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; her son William; her son-in-law, Lester T. Benson; her sister Florence Anderson and brother Theodore Weaver.
