Larry was one of a Kind. Like my father Tom I was privileged to meet and know Larry. I might not have known him as well as my dad. But he truely was one of a kind and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

My sympathy to the family. "Harry" will be missed by the old gang. His wackiness and love of fun gave all of us good laughs and we will always have fond memories of those good times.

My sympathies and prayers go out to the entire Decker Family. I was privileged to meet Larry. I recall fondly some Larryisms (I know it isn't a word, but I don't think “Harry” would care). We all enjoyed everything from 6 way conference calls, bed checks on Saturday morning, Champps (at the original place on W. 7th), the hat, to the mustache. Larry made a strong, positive, and lasting imprint on the hearts and minds of everyone he met. He is sorely missed.

To Mary and the rest of the Decker family...my sympathies and prayers to all of you. I'm glad I had a chance to visit with Larry at Mike and Lindsey's wedding last September. We shared a lot of happy memories that evening. Other than his health he hadn't changed a bit in the last 30+ years. I got to know Larry thru Nick Christensen and he was definitely fun to be around. Big smile and a bit of...let's see what we can do to find some fun or on occassion a bit of trouble. It was my pleasure to have had the chance to get know Larry in our younger years. As with Nick...my memories of Larry will always bring a smile to my face. Rest in peace Larry...your race is done and I'm sure all who came into contact with you are better because of it. You made people smile and yes(on occassion) did something that made us shake our head and laugh.
