Lawrence Gelbmann

Formerly of St. Paul Age 91 on November 10, 2010 Lawrence was one of nine children born to Lawrence andPauline (nee Tschida) Gelbmann. Preceded in death by siblings, Joseph, Elizabeth (Wallace) Tereau, Rose (Frank) Tschida, Gertrude Lofgren, Frederick, and Mary Ann (Walter) North. Survived by loving siblings, Pauline (Robert) Karr and Thomas; brother-in-law, Larry Lofgren; sister-in-law, Lois; and many nieces and nephews especially Tom Jr. for his care and comfort in his final days. He served in the U.S. Air Corps during WWII, being honorably discharged after suffering a disability. He was a lifetime member of the Screen Actors Guild, having been in the industry since 1954, as a Screen and Television actor. He was the beloved and colorful "Uncle Larry" to his numerous nieces and nephews and will be most sorrowfully missed. Mass of Christian Burial at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E. Little Canada Rd., Little Canada, on Tuesday, January 11 at 11 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10 AM Tuesday until time of Mass.
