Lenore Sophia EICHER

Age 85 of St. Michael, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2018 at Engel Haus Senior Living of Albertville. She was born on August 8, 1932 in St. Michael, Minnesota, the sixth child of Alois and Ottila Kasper's seven children. On October 3rd, 1953, Howard Eicher and Lenore Kasper were joined in holy marriage at The St. Michael Catholic Church. God blessed their marriage with three children. Lenore found her greatest love in the love she showed to her family. From sewing to cooking, cake decorating to knitting to being a loving mother, she was the "homemaker extraordinaire". For enjoyment Lenore was a golfer, member of a bowling league, loved to play cards, hiked, biked, walked and travelled with her husband Howard. Lenore was a faithful and active member of The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, being a part of the funeral choir, the funeral lunch committee, the adoration team and several other activities. Lenore S. Eicher is survived by her three children: Gordon (Buffie) Eicher of Austin, Texas, Ramona Eicher of Buffalo and Stanley (Joyce) Eicher of Woodbury; four grandchildren: Maddie Eicher and Karl (Rachel) Eicher; Allyssa Eicher and Grant Eicher; sisters Rosetta Swanberg, LaVerne Dahlheimer and Alice Eicher; also, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard; brother Lloyd Kasper and sisters Esther Berning & Luella Dick. Mass of Christian Burial for Lenore will be Thursday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the Mass, all at St. Michael Catholic Church, 11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St. Michael.
