Louise Esther DRIVER

1930 - 2023

Age 93, of Plymouth Formerly of Robbinsdale and born in St. Paul, passed away on November 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by loving husband, William Driver Jr, son, William Driver III, and her brother, John Preda. Survived by Barb (William III) Driver, Tom (Katie) Driver, Paul (Donna) Driver, Doug Driver, Bob (Julie) Driver; sister, Julianne Fabrega; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Louise was a proud graduate of St. Paul Central High School and enjoyed her streetcar rides to both school and her job at the Grand National Bank. She loved her home in Robbinsdale where she raised her five boys and was an original hockey mom. She was a faithful wife, dedicated mother and protector of friends and family. Louise was an active member of the Robbinsdale District Schoolmaster's Wives, a Deacon of Valley Community Presbyterian Church, Knit Pickers member and Meals on Wheels volunteer. Louise also enjoyed her time spent as a deli clerk at Byerly's. All who encountered Louise quickly were attracted to her kindness, peacefulness and warm smile. Louise exemplified daily a strong Christian faith. She often stated that she had a Blessed Life. She will be missed! Funeral Service to be held Monday, 12/11/23 at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Golden Valley at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Reception to follow with graveside service at Fort Snelling at 2 PM. Louise's family asks that memorials be given to Valley Community Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
