Dear Thorpe Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the all too short pleasure of knowing Maggie as a coworker at Bath and Body Works. My husband and I are brand new to the area and Maggie extended a wonderful welcome and hand of friendship to me at a time when I was struggling to adjust here. I will always remember her fondly as the first friend I made here. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Thorpe Family,
We are filled with sadness about learning about the loss of Maggie. She was a radiant ray of sunshine. My mom brother and I just ran into around Christmas at Bath & Body after not seeing her for years. She was so happy and full of hugs! I am heartbroken to hear about your Mom.As I'm sure you heard Caitlin and I ran into her at the nail salon in mid January. She was so excited about your wedding and all of her grandchildren. Cait is out of the country and I was out of town until yesterday. I am sorry I missed the chance to honor her.

To the Thorpe Family,
words can not express how sadden we are at Bath and Body Works.. Everyone there loved Maggie's presence. We will miss her always greeting customers at the door, and at the holiday sales. I and behalf of Bath and Body Works Staff of Woodbury, want to thank god for letting us get to know maggie for such the short time. We loved every minute with her.. Maggie was like another mom to all of us.

Altho I didn't go to school with Maggie, I was only a year ahead of her. My sister went to school with Maggie. I ran into her a few years ago at a craft store and we had a very nice visit. My heart goes out to the families.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of you're mother. I remember christmas caroling last year and me and my friend sang to her and she said "In all my years living in Woodbury, not once have I heard christmas carolers" and she gave us cookies :) I thought she was a very sweet lady :)

Dear Thorpe Family,
I was saddened by the tragic news of Maggie’s passing. I worked with her at Assurant and I remember her being this spunky little lady that always had a smile on her face.
I also had the opportunity to have a mentor/mentee relationship with Maggie and I value the "I-know-you-can-do-it’ approach that she would always use with me. Her enthusiasm and encouraging words will never be forgotten!
Maggie was very passionate about her family and always so proud of all of you! My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort!

I had the honor of sitting next to and working with Maggie my first year with Thrivent. She was a sweetheart and made me feel like an old friend from the first day. So welcoming and helpful. She adored and cherished her family. She is will be greatly missed. I am so thankful our paths crossed. May God bless you all and give you peace and comfort at this time.

Dear Thorpe Family,
I was fortunate to know Maggie through Footlights Dance Studio where I had the pleasure of teaching dance to Breann's class. My heart is so saddened about the tragic news of Maggie's passing. Maggie will always be remembered for so many things, especially the happiness she spread to those around her. And I will never forget the Mambo #5 skirts she worked on for all the dancers. She unselfishly gave of her time and talents. I know Maggie's caring spirit will always be with us. Breann, remember that your friends and family are here to support you during this difficult time of loss. Countless times your mom expressed to me how proud she was of your dancing, Breann. Dear Thorpe Family,
Maggie and I were both secretaries and co-workers at Fortis Financial Group (which ultimately became Thrivent) probably 15 or 20 years ago. Though I wasn't part of Maggie's personal or social life, I remember how much we enjoyed each other's company at work. I, too, remember her beautiful smile and sparkling personality. My friend, also a former co-worker of Maggie's, told me of her passing, and it made me very sad. I will remember Maggie with fondness, and wish you all peace in this difficult time.

I am so very sorry about the loss of Maggie. It has really shaken me as well. Like so many have already said, Maggie had such a loving, vibrant spirit. She will never be forgotten. I remember so fondly working on ruffs for Mambo #5 at Footlights and how in the midst of a lot of pressure, Maggie was so upbeat and fun to be with. I am so sad for all of you and especially, I know, that Breann has also lost her best friend. I left my number on a phone message if you want to talk sometime. I am away and feel so badly that I am not there to attend any services but you all are in my prayers.

Maggie was a ray of light on a dark day. She had a kind spirit and easily brought smiles to the people she encountered. We did meals-on-wheels together years ago and she went beyond to make everyone's day a little brighter, always lending an ear. Her deep love for her children stands out in my mind.

Dear David and family,
I worked with Maggie at Thrivent and felt as though I knew you all! Her office was adorned with pictures on her desk, her walls... her file cabinets. She also kept a mini-album in her purse to share those special new pics of the grand kids. She was a wonderful person...so caring and willing to give of herself to help others. The news of her passing on Monday shook us all. It still does not seem real that such a vibrant, loving, person with such a heart of gold would be taken from us so soon. I am proud to have called her my friend. You are all in my prayers. May God bless and comfort you all.

We will always remember and love the smiles and hugs from Maggie. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and she adored all of you. Maggie was a great Christian woman who lived out God's greatest commands to love others and to love God with her words and actions. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
I will always treasure my memories of Maggie; the lunches we shared, getting together to "craft" and chat... and our long phone calls to catch up. She will be missed.

Hello, all. I was really shocked when I got the call about this sad news. Maggie has always been so good to me over the years. She always had a smile and a hug for me whenever I saw her.
