My dear teacher, you are often thought of. You were my teacher the year you went to Sri Lanka and oh what neat stories you had. You even brought us gifts. You were the only one that believed in me in my whole life, ya they maybe were some but you showed it, and said it. I'm 54 now, and life has brought me back to this area and I often take the way home past your beloved home you shared with a few of us girls on a small day trip. You in fact would take small groups of our class to your home for a hike up that high high hill behind your place and then a cool dip in the stream. It was marvelous. You told me someday you would see my art and writing in a book, I'm sorry that we missed that part but I often remember that calling and those kind words. You were a treasure to a little girl in a tough time. Words can not express the difference you made and I can not imagine the life I'd have had no one but you believed in me. I hope to see you soon I know you have wings.

Marne, Margie, was a good friend for many years. She was part of a group of 4 UU women who would gather each spring at a lake cabin callled the Side Track and we would watch birds, look and rescue wild flowers, and hike. At the end of our stay one of the 4 would write in the guest book and Marne"s entries were always thoughtful and/or inspiring

I have many fond memories of Margery. One that stands out is visiting her wonderful log house near Afton, sitting outdoors eating nectarines on a hot summer day. Other favorites involve annual trips to the Minnesota State Fair, our group growing as the day went on. I always appreciated Margery's openness and intense interest in other people, her keen awareness of events around the world, and her laugh. My sympathies and love go out to her family as they continue through this transition.

I first met Marge when my 8th grade sister, Dorothy, brought Margie home to visit. One night the three of us crawled out onto the roof of our front porch to look at the stars and talk. I thought then, and later, that Marge was pretty, smart, and fun to be around. Howard Huelster

My sincere sympathy to all of the family. My name is Janice and Mrs. Becker was my 6th grade teacher in 1979/1980. She taught me many things and I have appreciated her lessons very much through out life. As I went on to Jr. High and Sr. High, I kept in touch with her. As a matter of fact, she attended my high school graduation party. Her loving heart and caring spirit will be greatly missed.
