Almost 10 years! I visited your grave the other day and of course there was no privacy again. It seems everytime I go there´s people everywhere. Then you visited me in a dream and then you had to go again abruptly and wouldn´t stay! You were just as busy in my own dream as you were in life. I wish I could have had a private moment with you but I know you had a life too...somewhere apart from me. Love You and visit again sometime!

Will always miss you, my sister.

I too keep this picture on my computer at work. One thing I think about is how Marilyn really wasn't a negative talker. Yes, she had her moments, but in general as I think about her life, I remember her positive, don't be a Debbie Downer attitude. This Thanksgiving I am giving thanks for the Sister that God gave me, and knowing she is not dead, but Alive in Christ.

November 25, 2015

My sister, I keep your picture (this picture) on my wall at work. You are so beautiful and your smile so real...I keep thinking back the last year of your life. I wish I would have spent more time with you. Talking and laughing. I can remember and see you giggling now. I know you would say "well Pamela, you are busy". But that isn't an excuse. I try to spend time with mom and dad but find that I am making neglecting them more than I want to. You are so dearly missed!

I am so very sad to hear of your loss. I worked with Marilyn 30 years ago, she helped to train me in when I was just starting out at "the phone company". We each moved on to different departments, but I have thought often of her through the years, and those thoughts have always brought a smile to my face. She was funny, sweet, kind and the thing I remember most about her was how she just absolutely loved her children, they were her world.

Mom,oh mom. The journey that you had to take was tough. The things you shared with me your last week will be followed and the proudness I have for you is so over the top. You fought and you struggled to get through another day. I know when you told me a week before that you were sorry you had to go I know a peace of you was prepared and the other of you ached to leave your family and grandchildren. The alone time I had with you over the last week and the things you expressed to me and our talks I will always carry with me. I told you mom you are not alone and this is not goodbye. I know you are now with the angels and I know you hold a reward in heaven. Mom I will see you again and you should be so proud of the struggle you faced dad to day at the end of your lung battle and kept going. Mom I am so so so proud of you. My heart aches and will miss you. I had tears in silence cause of your suffering and knew the courage I was going to have knowing I had such short time left with you and had to be strong for you your last moments on earth. Though mom I was crying happy tears for you when I knew your suffering was finally over and yet I will miss you more than you know and still hold tears I very proud of you and love you so much. I watched all that you had to face and all your fears, thoughts and the messages you wanted to get across. Mom I will follow what you asked in your final days and carry you with me forever.

Marilyn, you have left way too soon. We worked side by side and shared a lot of laughs. You were so kind at heart and a fun to work with. It saddens me that you are no longer with us. Even though we lost touch over the years, I cherished you as a good and loving person as both a friend and a co-worker. May you rest in peace.

"There were 3 sisters"... And now there are 2... No, to me and to mom and dad, rick and patty, there will always be 3. The pain and loss I feel hasn't subsided since you died. But I know you would say "Pamela, I know you are sad, but you need to live! And enjoy your time with mom and dad". You were a good sister.. Never wanting arguing or not getting along... You were beautiful and kindhearted and loved your family. I will try my hardest to be there for your girls and for your grandkids. I promise.

Marilyn, The thing that I'll always remember and cherish about you most was your faith and trust in God's Word. I know with all my heart that you're singing with the angels now, and I will do my best to spread your faith in the hearts of our daughters. It will be my continue hope and prayer, that we all will be singing along with you some day. What a Beautiful, Blessed, and Happy day that will be.

Thank you for loving your family and keeping the message of Hope and Salvation ever before us. There is a word that means Hello and Good-bye and Love. I am sending it up to the Heavens now....
