(née Dahl) Age 85, of Roseville, MN Died peacefully of kidney failure January 4, 2021, at EagleCrest Senior Living in Roseville, MN. Marilyn was born April 16, 1935, in Willmar, MN. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; a steadfast cook, natural athlete and competitor. Marilyn was preceded in death by parents Paul and Margaret Dahl, husband Charles R. Winden, four siblings, Reynold, Lois, Buddy and Corky. She is survived by brother Charles (Jo) Dahl, children Susan (John) Hall, Richard and Dana. Grandchildren Adam Meyer (Jen Simon), Brenna Hall, Sarah (Greg) Beckius, Ashley Winden (Jack Hansen), great grandson William Beckius. She was active in local bowling leagues, tournaments and golf league at Bunker Hills Golf Club. Lifelong friends including "The Willmar Girls" gathered for coffee and lengthy lunches. Her favorite ways to share love were through food, knitted blankets, laughs, and most importantly, hugs. Marilyn attended Sunrise United Methodist Church in Moundsview. Her family offers sincere gratitude to the many devoted and loving caregivers at EagleCrest, and Jen at Genevive. Marilyn will be deeply missed by family and dear friends. Private family service and interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
