Dearly Beloved Age 36 Lifelong resident of North St. Paul Passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2017. Preceded in death by baby brother; and father-in-law, John Severson. Loving husband of Jeni; adoring father of Kaitlyn, Lindsey, & Lucas; cherished son of John "Jack" & Carol; proud brother & best friend of Scott Alan (Cindy), and Todd Alan (Bitsie); devoted & loving uncle of Kari, Jonathan, Samantha "Sam", Shelby, Jake; nephew of Robert & Gary Zick, and Mavis Mallinger; mother-in-law, Deb Severson; close friends, "Little Todd" Jungwirth, Dennis Scharffbillig, Dan Vorwerk, Jason Hanna, and Randy Miller; also cousins, other relatives and friends. Mark loved fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities with his family and friends, especially being at the cabin in Park Rapids. Mark was quick witted and always had comeback comments. Employed by the City of Lake Elmo Public Works Department. Member of Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Assoc., life member of the NRA and member of the IUOE Local 49. Mark was very knowledgeable and always the go to guy who could fix anything. He was very conscientious and always cared about providing the public services for the residents of Lake Elmo. He was also concerned about his co-workers at Lake Elmo public works and he always wanted the best for everyone. Memorial Service Tuesday, (June 6, 2017) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Visitation Monday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul and one hour prior to the Service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. There are no words to convey how much Mark will be missed and will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.
