I have just learned of Mary Ann's passing and of John's last October. My deepest sympathy to the Auge and O'Kane families. I have special memories of both Mary Ann & John that I will cherish forever. Two wonderful people who meant a lot to me. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. To Cathy McLean and Shawn O'Kane, Thank You for letting me be a part of their lives. Much love....

I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOST OF YOUR MOTHER, SHE WAS A WONDERFUL,JOYFULLY PERSON,WHEN YOU SEEN HER YOU FELT HAPPY TOO.I WANTED YOU TO KNOW HOW PROUD OF YOU KIDS SHE WAS. WHEN SHE WOULD TALK ABOUT YOU HER FACE WOULD LIGHT UP.I'M THE DAUGHTER OF VERNA GILSON, WHO WAS PART OF THE SEWING CLUB.ONE TIME I ASK MY MOM ABOUT THE CLUB NAME BECAUSE THEY ONLY MADE A FEW THINGS, WELL SHE JUST LAUGHED.WHEN THEY CAME OVER I COULD HEAR THEM,THEY WOULD TALK AND TALK AND LAUGH ALOT AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. WHEN I WAS OLDER WE WOULD STOP BY FOR A FEW MINUTES TO SEE YOUR MOM AT THE STOE WHER SHE WORKED IN LITTLE CANADA SHOPPING CENTER,.YOUR MOM WOULD TALK ALWAYS ABOUT HER KIDS. YOU COULD SEE HOW VERY IMPRTANT THEY WERE TO HER, NO MATTER HOW OLD THEY WERE.I WILL PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILES TO HELP YOU DURING THIS SAD TIME.

One thing I will always remember is whenever I would do something crazy to my hair she would always tell me she loved it whether it was me dying or bright red or my shaving it all off. She always told me she loved it no matter what I did to it. Even though she would probably go home and tell grandpa how much she rather see me with my natural hair color just like everybody else would.
