Michael, my little brother, I don’t have the words to tell you just how much you are going to be missed. I will cherish the memories of the jokes we shared, games we played, pool parties, sledding, football boards, horse races, your uplifting personality and most of all your great sense of humor. I am sad that I can no longer share the fun times with you, but it makes me feel good knowing you are in a better place and free from the body that could no longer keep up with you and finally took it’s toll. Mike, the memory of you will live with me forever. I love you.

Dad,
There are so many things I wish I could say, so many more stories I wish I could share with you, but time is tricky and it seems as though yours was cut too short. I know you are smiling down on me from up above, will listen as I share my stories and be with me when I need you most. I imagine you are happy that you are finally free from the body that held you captive for so long and can now walk, talk and even run of you so desire. I take comfort in the fact that I knew you loved me more than words could express and I loved you just as much. You will always be with me even if your body is gone, your spirit lives on in everyone's life you touched. I love you dad and miss you so much...

I never had a chance to meet you but if you were even half as wonderful as both of your daughters, Casey and Erin, I know you were a great person. My deepest sympathy for the entire Byrne family.

Your smile will be missed by many and those who grew up with you in West Bloomington. Memories of you will live in our hearts forever. Be at peace, find our friend Bill, and one day all of us will be together again as we enter the world of eternity. My deepest sympathy to the entire Byrne family.
