Age 72, of Roseville, died peacefully on April 16, 2020 Preceded in death by wife, Patricia Ann Kloss (O'Neil), sister-in-law, Elizabeth M. O'Neil, and brother-in-law, John (Marsha) O'Neil. He is survived by sister, Karen (Richard) Huff; niece, Jennifer (Michael) Huff Popek; grandnephew, Justin Popek; loving companion, Vessie Mateva; close and beloved in-laws, Mary (Michael) Hackner, Michael (Melanie) O'Neil, Timothy (Teresa) O'Neil, Susan (Rick) Olzenak, Daniel O'Neil (Karen Loe); nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Nathan) Carlson, Tara (Jason) Tait, John (Danielle) O'Neil, Megan O'Neil, Michelle (Adam) Hackner Woodruff, Timothy S. O'Neil (Kaisha), Joseph (Jessica) O'Neil, Caitlin (Andrew) Buchanan, Matthew (Laura) Hackner, Nicholas Olzenak; grandnieces and grandnephews, Adam Tait, Malakai Carlson, Keira Tait, Joshua Carlson, Joshua O'Neil, Annabelle Carlson, Jack O'Neil, and Jeremiah O'Neil. Michael was born in St. Cloud, MN, and later moved to Southeast Minneapolis. He attended Marshall High School and many of his classmates became life-long friends. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked in the IT Department at the Metropolitan Council and later at HealthPartners. Mike loved nature, fishing, boating, and had a passion for traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time up north at his cabin. It has been said by many that Mike Kloss was the nicest person they'd ever met. He will be missed by so many friends and loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at the Cremation Society of MN, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, with visitation from 3-4 pm before the service, followed by a reception. cremationsocietyofmn.com (http://www.cremationsocietyofmn.com)
