Our family is so sorry and saddened by Mimi's untimely death. Her sincerity, genuiness and kindness, her sparkly personality
and many talents will stay with everyone whose life she touched. She was truly a "Genuine Friend to all who "Brightened Everyone's World".
Sincerely,
Patricia Gaustad, Patti & Bill Hoversten

Mimi was to our neighborhood like a shooting star in an August night sky; burning brightly and passing far too quickly. She brought fun and cheer to all who knew her and will be sorely missed. John, our deepest sympathy.

Mimi was only in my life for a short time but she had a huge impact on me. I came to love her dearly and will miss her very much. I'll always remember her for her thoughtful and caring ways and for her humor. Rest in peace, Mimi.

I want to express my deepest sympathy and heartfelt remorse to the Ward Family over the passing of Mimi Ward.
Mimi touched all those who knew her and burned brightly in the lives of those closest to her. As a friend, a mother, and a wife, Mimi always gave 100 percent and when most people buckled, she was at her best.
This was the Mimi I knew: A dear friend to my parents, a mother to my close friend and a wife to a person I respect. Mimi was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
With sincere regards,
Herbert Bigelow Gardner

What a beautiful friend was our Mimi Girl. Always on the move, coming up with some incredible ideas and party plans for us and little pranks to pull. You could never be bored with Mimi in your life. Her presence will always be felt in my life, as she always touched my cheek and hugged me everytime we were around each other. She never failed to say how much she loved me. She was a bundle of love, joy and fun in a tiny little package that touched the lives of many. I know she is doing the same in heaven. I love you and miss you, and will rejoice the day I see you again.

OUR FOND MEMORIES OF MIMI
You “decorated” our lives with
generous laughter
warm hugs
unconditional friendship
beautiful arrangements for our children’s weddings
thoughtful remembrances
remembering all the stories about our children
your bits of advice
You have taught us many of life’s lessons
eat more candy bars
stop and smell the flowers
never use artificial flowers when you can use the real thing
laugh more
hug others
tell people you care about that you love them
be strong and fight the demons in our lives
listen and remember what others say
be inclusive, not exclusive
When we see these acts of kindness we will think of you, my friend!
We all had to share Mimi. She had so many friends and we could never get enough time with her. Now her time on earth has been cut short. We know she had many more plans to “decorate” our lives.
Mimi, we will miss you terribly. May you be at peace. Help us find peace in your passing as we pray for you.
We believe you are present with us.
We believe you are listening to us now.
Our condolences go out to all who were touched by your love.

Mimi and Bill Grohs took me into their home in the 70s when I first moved to MN. Mimi was so fun and full of energy..... I'll never forget her infectious laugh.... or her couch I slept on for months...... it had a wild floral pattern! Peace Mimi... you will be missed by many!

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of Mimi from her family's and friends' lives. Though I hadn't seen her in recent years, she lives on in my high school memories; her good humor and laughter trailing behind her as she pulls away in a baby blue Mustang. Peace, Mimi. We will miss you.

I had occasion to know Mimi many years ago. She was a delightful young woman. I am saddened by her passing at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

The loss of our dear friend, Mimi, will be a great void for both of us. She was a joy to many of us at Bonita Bay, and we feel privileged that we could share a part of her life. She will be remembered for her personality, character, and being an expert at doing the "little things". We loved her and our thoughts and prayers are for John and her family.

I still haven't had time to sit and let the news of my aunt Mimi's passing sink in. It will. I really loved her. She was beautiful, loads of fun and had just the right amount of quirkiness. Growing up, aunt Mimi was my barometer of cool. I think the last time I saw or spoke to Mimi was over a decade ago. She used to come visit me at work in the Mall of America. I really enjoyed those visits. I wish we could have spent more time together. I will miss her greatly.

To Mimi and her Beloved’s:
Mimi has a wondrous gift. We all know this in our hearts. Our minds can barely grasp what has happened.
As Bob always said, “Heaven is my home; I am just here on a visit.”
Her visit was to short for us. I can only think of her joy with Marie, Grace, Ed, and Bob.
'The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.'

Mimi was my former sister in law and Godmother to my daughter, Ann Fellman. We are all saddened by her sudden death. All my children, Glen, Craig and Ann, have wonderful memories of Mimi. You couldn't help being attracted to her. I remember our buying trip together in Chicago. What fun we had! I will remember her always. My prayers are with all of you as you deal with the loss of Mimi.
