My condolences to the Meath family. Dennis was my closest friend from our days on Central Avenue in St. Paul. I knew Patrick and Kathleen also. We moved out to Geranium Street in 1954, and Dennis lived a short distance away on Mississippi Street. I contacted Patrick a few years back, and he was kind enough to share some pictures of Dennis. He also advised where Dennis was buried. I have visited his grave since then. It's been over 60 years since Dennis was killed, and I often think of him. I am very sad at the deaths of Dennis, Kathleen, Patrick, and Rose. I have attached a photo taken out front of the 4-Plex at 359 Central Avenue. That's me standing in the back, with my twin brothers, James and John, and my sister Beverly.

Dear Mark,
Thank you for sharing wonderful stories of your father with me over the years. I know your dad is your hero. He must have been very proud of you, as well. You have honored him with the person you have become. I'm sad for your loss.
My heart goes out to your sweet mom, to you, Shane, and your loving family. May you all take comfort in the love surrounding you now.
My heart and prayers are with you.
God Bless You.

My deepest condolence to all of you in the Meath family. I was very shocked when my mom had told me she seen this obituary. I really thought Pat would roll on forever. I know he will be deeply missed by all of you. He is now out of any pain and in a much better place. Probably running all the marathons heaven has to offer.
