Paul NOEL Obituary

Passed away at age 75 on November 13, 2017, after battling stomach cancer. Originally from West St. Paul, MN. Paul was a master prankster, avid artifact collector and one eccentric individual. He was a legendary figure from the west side's White Elephant (Gallagher's Bar). Founder of the infamous Noel's Marina in the mid 1960's, and life long entrepreneur who was the captain of his own ship. He survived a tragic motorcycle accident in Australia in his younger years and became closer to his family as a result of that near miss. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him well. A life well lived right to the very end. "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" sums up the larger than life father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, husband and friend who now fills the memories of us all. You will be missed. Proceded in death by father Firman and mother Mary (Shillock) Noel, Paul Shillock Jr., Dr. Paul Shillock Sr., Sen. Daniel Shillock & Mathilde Shillock. Survived by brother David; sister Mary (Noel) Leedy; son J.P. Noel - the drummer boy; granddaughter Alexandra (Carbone) Leslie and great granddaughter Emma Leslie. No funeral was his last wish, he just wanted to be remembered for his crazy antics and love of life, nothing more.
