Paul Quast Obituary

Quast, Paul T. - Of Two Harbors Age 62 Died Friday, December 19, 2003 at his home. He was born May 25, 1941 to Theodore and Katherine (Elness) Quast in Alexandria, Minnesota. Paul graduated from Harding High School in 1959. After serving in the army for 2 years, he worked for 3M and Imation for over 30 years. In 2001, Paul moved to Two Harbors, where he made his retirement home. He sang with the 3M Music Makers, 3M Male Chorus and the North Shore Voices. Paul enjoyed photography, the outdoors and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. He will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Roger Quast. Paul is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, Robert (Tiffany) of Somerset, Wisconsin; daughter, Kimberly Quast of St. Paul; mother, Katherine Almquist of St. Paul; step-son, Brandon Emmons; brothers, Charles (Darlene) of Bethel, Leon of Fenton, Missouri and Ken (Nancy) of St. Paul; sisters, Margaret (Ronald) Kaufhold of Woodbury, MN and Mary Hagen of Minneapolis; in-laws, Larry and Eva Grefe of Woodbury; mother of his children, Karen Quast of Stillwater, MN; grandson, Jaden; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1hr before the 3 PM memorial service, Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 655 Forest St., St. Paul. Arrangements by Cavallin Funeral Home.
