Peggy Sandstrom Obituary

Sandstrom, Peggy E. - 'Tante Tina' Age 77, of Forest Lake/Scandia Died peacefully in her home on July 26, 2005 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Knute I. Sandstrom, who she was happily married to from Oct. 10, 1950 until his death in 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Karin (Richard) Adams; son, Paul A. Sandstrom; granddaughters, Kristen (Michael) Drury, Kelsey Adams (Andrew Cavallin); great-grandchildren, Emma and Owen Drury, Kyle Cavallin; Beloved friends, Robyn & Joe Poppel, Hazel & Dick Walgren; and many other wonderful friends. Peggy was employed at Ettel & Franz Sheet Metal & Roofing Co. for 47 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of Sons of Norway, Forest Lake Study Club, Gammelgarden Museum, and the Red Hat Society. Funeral Services 10AM, Friday, July 29, 2005 at MATTSON FUNERAL HOME, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to funeral. Private family interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gammelgarden Museum. Mattson Funeral Home & Cremation Service (651)464-3556.
