I am sorry to hear of Bowen's passing. I had the honor of knowing Bowen at Breck. He was one of the best guys I have ever met. My respect to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Bowen and came to love his desire to create a workplace where all could succeed and enjoy themselves. He was one of the kindest and gentlest men I have known. I will miss him. My thoughts and hopes go out to his family, whom I know he adored.

Alicia and Jane Keyes, who knew Bowen and his family as a fellow Breck family, are very sad to learn of his death. Our hearts ache for you. We're sending thoughts of peace and love to his entire family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bowen at my job, through Bowen's work with US West/Qwest/CenturyLink. He was always cordial, professional and responsive to our requests and requirements. And, Bowen had a great sense of humor and was fun to share a laugh with. My prayers and condolences go to Bowen's family.

I never actually met Bowen Phelps in person ... but this did not prevent me from knowing his tremendously kind and compassionate heart. I am fortunate for that brief moment when his tender soul reached out to touch my own, and that experience of Bowen will linger always.

It was such a pleasure to meet Bowen in Florida at Bill and Jennifer's this year. He was such a warm, genuine guy…displayed a zest for life even while he was facing many physical challenges. We pray for peace and comfort for the entire family. How Bowen will be missed!

Bowen's optimism, courage, humor, caring and compassion were inspiring. Bowen taught me many lessons about how to live, and die well. To live well: love deeply, play often and fair, have Faith, eat cherry pie, rock out with good music. It's a beautiful thing! When I reminded Bowen he was a good husband, father, son, brother, friend, Uncle, and Rummikub player he added "and pie eater....and camper!" Thanks for all the wonderful times shared together, Bowen!
