R. GAUGER Obituary

Age 91 Died after a short illness on December 30, 2023 in Woodbury, MN. Richard "Dick" was born in St. Paul, MN on September 9, 1932. A graduate of St. Paul Central and University of Minnesota Institute of Technology, he later served in the U.S. Army, and founded Gauger Engineering, Inc. Richard was active in professional, civic, handball, and recovery communities. Preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Raymond R. Gauger; daughter, Debora (Debbie); son, Ray (Rick) Gauger; sister, Joan; brother, Glenn; former wife, Donna; and grand daughter, Brittany. He is survived by his grandchildren, Austin, Derek, and Amy. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 2nd at 1:00 PM at The Recovery Church: 253 State St., St. Paul, MN. Richard will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery during a private interment. The family would be grateful for donations to The Recovery Church.
