Ralph Kienlen Obituary

Kienlen - Ralph, age 87, of St. Paul, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather. Ralph will be remembered as a gentle man with a quick wit who loved life, his family and friends. Ralph was a dedicated, lifelong volunteer to charities, church, elderly and the sick. Ralph was a proud veteran of WWII serving two years in the front lines as a medical technician. He was a businessman and barber with shops in downtown St. Paul. Jane, his wife of 52 years, parents, sisters Alice Webster and Katherine Michaels and brother Robert preceded him in death. Survived by brothers Ray, Chris (Marion) and Bill Kienlen plus four children, Carol Clemens (Hal Nitch), Kathleen (Randy) Ramos, Dennis (Judy) and Gregory Kienlen, grandchildren Daniel (Vicki Krueger), and Denise Clemens, Monique and Christina Ramos, Adam and Casey Kienlen and great-grandchildren Hannah, Lillia, Nora and Liana Clemens plus Derek and Blake Krueger. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday November 6 at ST. FRANCIS DE SALES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 650 Palace Ave in St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the National Parkinson's Foundation. Willwerscheid & Peters, 651-228-1006.
