In deepest sleep one night I dreamed that on the beach I walked. God was by my side each step and quietly we talked. Then on the sky my life was flashed;the visions all serene. Two sets of footprints in the sand were there in every scene. but then I noticed in some scenes of suffering, pain and strife...Just a single set of footprints at the qorst times of my life."God...You said you'd stay by me in good times and in bad...Why the did you leave me each time my life was sad?" "My precious child," God answered,"when your life had pain,I knew. The single set of footprints were the times I carried you

Bill and I were grieved to hear of Dick's passing. We were out of town for the week and did not know about Dick's death until we returned. Please know that we prayed for him each night since his diagnosis and now pray that he has found peace. We pray that the family is doing well.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am the diamond glints on snow,

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight,

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there, I did not die.

Look up, look up. Through the dark of night and the stars that shine. To the light far beyond. I have gone to the light now my destiny complete. Do not weep for me for I stand at the throne of glory.

I will always love you my sweet brother.

What I remember most about Dick was his sense of humor. I practically grew up in the Clum household with my 2 best friends, Dick's sisters, Diane and Donna. I had so much fun with Dick, Linda, Jimmy, Diane, Donna, Gary and Larry. Kay was married and Sharon was always working. Dick would always keep us laughing. There is no one who could tell a joke like Dick!

My thoughts and prayers are with Dick's family and I will always remember the laughter.

Dick was the kindest most gentle man in the world. He had a sense of humor that was to look at him was to laugh. He will be missed in every way possible, and will always be loved.

We didn't know Dick that well but we do know his sisters and we know how much they will miss him. They are a wonderful family, full of love and an appreciation for life and all that it has to offer. Our sympathy is with his sisters and family and friends right now . . . may you hold his memory close and gain strength from each other and all the love that surrounds you.

Dearest Dickie, I will miss your wonderful smile and your sense of humour. I know you are in a better place and free of the pain that marked your passing from us. Though it is long ago I remember you at 5 with Jimmy, what a pair! You were his first friend when we moved to South Grove. We will hold you in our hearts forever.

Dad,

I am so happy that you are now pain free and in a better place. You were the BEST father a daughter could ever wish for, and the BEST "poppy" the boys loved you dearly and we will all miss you greatly. You will be in my memories for ever. Please look over us. I LOVE YOU - Carrie
