For some mysterious reason the message I entered on this site does not appear, only my name, so I will try for the third time to submit my heartfelt thoughts about Bob.
"The world is a poorer place with the passing of this lovely congenial man, as is our family. His time has moved on, but he has left a special imprint on Minnesota, and beyond, through his kindness, business acumen, and generosity. He will be missed by a multitude of people, especially me."

What a special, sincere, and kind hearted human being. One of the most special citizens of the Twin Cities I have met. I remember many special moments at the TapeMark Pro/Am with Bob and others from his business. I will always remember Bob for al the good he did for the special needs kids in the area and how he set a standard for all who knew him to emulate.

At our meeting this Saturday, 350 "Brothers" of Norske Torske Klubben will rise, and in silence ... reflect upon the inspiring memory of our dear friend.
Together, we both joined the Klubben in 1971.

It was a great honor to have known Bob. Discussing business with him as his insurance agent, talking politics and the stock markets with him while looking at the "ticker" in his office, golfing with him, reminiscing about my father, who he knew very well. All were memorable. Rest In Peace, Bob. God bless you.

R.I.P. Mr. Klas, as that is what I always called you as you were my superior. You were a wonderful man to work for & you & Sandy did a lot for the handicapped children & adults. It was pleasure working for you. You were fair with all employees. Prayers to the Family left behind. May God Bless & watch over all of you. Connie Jean Hill.
