I worked with Ron at Farm Credit. I also lived in the same area as Ron when he and his family lived on Manning Ave., in Washington, County. Ron was enjoyable to work with and he always had something positive to say.
My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and the family.

Dear Sharon, We (Hub and Vern Thoreson) were classmates and friends of Ron at UND and got together at professional meetings after that time also. This evening I was thinking of Ron and tried to use the internet to locate where you were. I was shocked to find this website and learn of Ron's death. Our memories of Ron are warm and we extend our deepest sympathy to you.

Dear Sharon

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Ron's passing on WCCO this morning. I have nothing but fond memories of the good times we had together in the Bus Ed department at Mankato State. My deepest sympathy to you and the family.

Sharon.....I was so sorry to hear about Ron this morning. It was only by accident that I had WCCO on the car radio and Sue Zellickson mentioned that her friend Ron Gilsrud had passed away and his wife Sharon was her dearest friend!!!
I thought right away....I know those people!! My thoughts are certainly with you and your family.

Sharon..........You have our deepest sympathy in your loss. I appreciated and enjoyed the opportunity to work for several years with Ron as his peer during a challenging time at the Farm Credit Banks. I will never forget our many laughs together, his sense of humor, positive attitude, and innovative ideas. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Dear Sharon and Family,

I fondly remember Ron from bank days. He had an easy laugh and a level head.

The last time we saw you two was at Maplewood Mall and you were wearing a Longville sweatshirt. That caugh our attention because we've been to Longville when visiting friends on Lake Wabedo. We listened (longingly) to how you were enjoying retirement.

We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you adjust to life without Ron.

Be well,
