some of my cherished moments with grandma ruth were the times we spent at coffee shops or the times we spent one on one in my car...moments I will miss but now I pass the torch to my mom in heaven to continue the coffee chatter and share in the laughter and joy as they now together watch over friends and loved ones left behind...lots of love always.

I was fortunate enough to have two wonderful Mothers-in-law; Ruth being my second. She was always cheerful, involved and fun to be with! And that smile could warm your heart. Ruth, look up Izzy up there...I think you two could become best friends.
Love always,

A preacher in California told us the rapture would be on October 21st 2011. Well maybe he was right. On that day God took a prince from Saudi Arabia and a Queen from St. Paul. #2 of 6

If I were a grandchild, I'ld be 5.5, my memories of Grandma where very long walks across over the high bridge and you dont get to be 97 by not eating right and exercise, as we made several walks to the South St. Paul Nursing home to visit her mother- Ruthie. Her goal was to turn 100, so on that note Happy 100th Birthday grandma, for God has no timeline. I was the first grandchild and would visit her on my paper route, where hot chocolate would be waiting. If she were a celebrity, she would be a clone of Betty White. Never a cross word, just a bundle of joy. Love you so much grandma, Terri PS: Grandma, let me know when you meet Jesus.

From another light-traveler ... blessings to Ruth's 6, especially #3 for valuing her interest in the mysteries!
Your Mother was ahead of her time, surely the planet Uranus had a special position in her lifetime. Peace be with you all as Ruth earned her wings and now embraces you all with her abundant love ... Peace be with you.

I will always remember the car rides on a cold winter days in the station wagon. It was wonderful to see her pull up to the curb and take us kids (Joy & Sandy) to Sandy's house for lunch.
