What a sudden tragic end to a gifted fun dude. I was Sean and Belinda's neighbor for many years while our young families grew. When I had the opportunity to drive up to the cabin with him-to meet our wives and kids who were already there-I remember Sean saying "There are about four different good routes we could take to get there." That was emblematic of him...he had researched the alternatives, identified their merits, and brought for consideration this set of options that were all good options, and he was open to discuss other considerations before coming to a consensus. He was a very good listener and enjoyed sharing funny stories-I can still hear his laughter while he explained some ridiculous set of circumstances that begged for the the obvious solution we could both see coming through his telling. He was full of energy and well considered plans and tough to keep up with. Always working on a project at home and up at the cabin that helped him and Belinda create a fabulous lifestyle. His absence is a thin veil as the radiance of his time in our lives is everlasting.

I wish I could be there with you to share memories of Sean. He is a cousin I wish I could have known better and spent more time with as adults. My first memories are of he and Kevin horsing around at Harriet and Dave's house in Middleton. Then Sean grew into such a kind, gentle, funny and accomplished man. I truly enjoyed seeing him every time our paths crossed. I also remember how much my Mom (Betty) used to love his visits with his beloved daughters. I am sending Belinda and all the family love and prayers from Maine.

Sean was a very special student in my land use course in the Real Estate Program some time ago. I followed his successful career in Minnesota over the years. I am unable to attend the event Friday, but do wish to extend my deep sympathy to the family in the loss of Sean.
