I was blessed to call Sharon my coworker, friend and mothering mentor. Sharon had a profound love and respect for women, babies and family.

Sharon was a wonderful coworker and gift to her NICU babies and laboring mothers. We shared many laughs on our evening shifts on FBC. We always knew that Sharon and Ray could host a good party and I always enjoyed the Christmas Tea that Sharon hosted several years for our coworkers. Her family and faith were everything to her and I know she will be greatly missed by all the people she touched.

You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your mom. I know how important she was in your lives and your care and support during these last few years brought great growth and comfort to her and all of you. The stories of Sharon and her relationship with each of you were quite special. I recently heard that the deepness of grief reflects the depth of love, and I know it will be painful for some time. Share the stories and hold onto the warm memories as they will continue to bring you comfort. I've known Ray for some time, and he shared wonderful stories of his and Sharon's great love. I know Jacob, and he has spoken very fondly of her. I know Nathan from long ago, and I know Vanessa from her work. You are a very lovely family and I know you will all miss her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
