Shirley Kay JOHNSON
1947 - 2021
Shirley was born on December 29, 1947 and died peacefully at her home in St. Paul after a battle with cancer on January 7, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Mary and Wilfred Johnson, and brother-in-law, Don Kietzmann. Shirl is survived by her husband, Doug Johnson; siblings, Sharon (Bob) Weber, Mary Ellen "Sage" Kietzmann of Mendota Hts, MN, Jim (Terry) Johnson of Maple Grove, MN, and many beloved relatives and friends. Shirley grew up in Fort Snelling and obtained a teaching degree in Spanish at St. Cloud State. She was a talented artist, loved playing cards and yard games, and spending time with her extended family. She was our prayer warrior. She loved her husband, Doug, whom she was married to for 48 years. A Celebration of Life will be held in late spring.
